As a technical writer, I use a variety of technical tools to create words and visuals that persuade, interpret complex information, solve problems, create meaningful narratives, and promote social change. My colleagues and I created this online help system to assist rhetoric and writing students harness WordPress.com to create electronic writing portfolios.  We created this help system with RoboHelp 10, a help authoring tool, and Snagit, a screen capture software.

Online Library Database Video Tutorial

I created this video tutorial using Snagit's video screen capture tool. The purpose of the video is to show undergraduate students at UALR how to find articles using the online library database.

Writing Process Prezi

I created this Prezi for a teaching team presentation that my colleague Emily Davis and I completed for a course called Composition Theory. The Prezi was useful for guiding our discussion of the writing process in terms of the theories set forth by John Seely Brown, Allan Collins, Paul Duguid, Ann Berthoff, Donald Murray, and Nancy Welch.
